WHAT: The Port of Los Angeles welcomes NCL America's Pride of
Aloha, the first modern cruise ship to fly a U.S. Flag in
nearly half a century. Following an inaugural celebration
and a christening on July 4th, Pride of Aloha will begin her
regular seven-day, year-round Hawai'i cruise schedule.
Pride of Aloha employs nearly 800 U.S. seafarers, mostly
hailing from Hawai'i, and will generate hundreds of millions
of dollars in economic benefits to Hawai'i and the U.S.
