ADVISORY...for Tuesday Tuesday: see week.  (May 9)

What: Controversial Atlanta Braves pitcher John Rocker will be
featured in his first interview since being reinstated to
Major League Baseball on PadsHomeBase.com, one of the more
than 500 sports team and affinity channels on the Rivals.com
         Network.

Rocker garnered international notoriety after making several
racial and inflammatory statements about immigrants,
homosexuals and his disdain for the New York Mets and New
York fans in general among other comments to Sports
Illustrated reporter Jeff Pearlman in a December 27th
interview. He was suspended from baseball for several weeks,
apologized and now he speaks out for the first time since
being welcomed back to the Major Leagues.

When: The entire nine-minute interview can be heard Wednesday,
May 10 at NOON PST by going to www.PadsHomeBase.com.
Interviewer Jerry Gross is available for interviews on a
         request basis.

Who: Jerry Gross, co-publisher of Rivals.com's San Diego Padres
         site - PadsHomeBase.com (www.PadsHomeBase.com), conducted the
interview as the first in a series of interviews with some of
sports top celebrities. Jerry has numerous national radio and
television credits to his name as a sports play-by-play
reporter, sports anchor, reporter, commentator and talk show
host. He has been the play-by-play announcer for the San
Diego Charges, San Diego Padres, Houston Rockets, LA Clippers
and was featured in CBS Television's NBA Game of the Week
among many other highlights. Here's a sample of comments from
John Rocker as interviewed by Jerry Gross:

Rocker regarding if he is sorry for his earlier comments:
JERRY: "...If you had it to do over again, would you change
anything John Rocker has done in the last two years?"

ROCKER: "No, I'm happy where I'm at."

JERRY: "No regrets on anything you said to this reporter
         (who wrote Sports Illustrated article)?"

ROCKER: "You know, I've seen what errors I've made and I've
apologized for them. If that's not good enough for some
people then I'm sorry. You know the old saying, 'Those
without sin cast the first stone', and there's a lot of
people out there with plenty of sin that are still casting
         stones."

Rocker on his opinion of the media: "... I mean those guys
have their own agenda, they don't care about anybody but
themselves, but you know, whatever kind of story and angle
they want to try and create...and I also learned just from
reading... pretty much whatever you say in a newspaper
article, TV and radio are a little bit tougher, they can't
edit things out of TV interviews...but you can answer
questions for a newspaper reporter or a magazine reporter and
he can twist your words around and put them in there any way
         he wants to."

Rocker on teammates: "I hadn't really seen (any negativity
remaining on the Braves), with the exception of maybe one or
two guys at the most, I hadn't seen any negative reaction
from anybody and you know of course the farther things go,
the more time passes you know it will increasingly get
better, but right now I don't feel any different in the
clubhouse, I'm not treated any different in the clubhouse
than I was this time last year, there has been absolutely no
         change."

Braves manager Bobby Cox on Rocker: "Nobody condoned in the
slightest bit what was said. It was embarrassing for the
organization. It wasn't the way we felt. It's what came out
of his mouth. We're doing the best we can to help him, and
our guys are real professional about it. And so far it's
working, and I think John is the better man for it."

interview and both Murray and Gross will feature updates and
analysis on an ongoing basis on the PadsHomeBase.com message
