America's most diverse media network hosts the largest gathering of multi-ethnic media in the country. Highlights include: -- First debate of the Gubernatorial season -- between Republic Party candidate Bill Simon and Green Party candidate Peter Miguel Camejo. Co-sponsored by the Greenlining Institute. -- Workshops on topics that range from the Multi-lingual Polls that are giving a voice to the audiences of ethnic media, to a session on what terms leaders are trying out to replace "ethnic," "minority" and "multicultural" to reflect the new demographics. -- Gala celebration of only multi-lingual media awards competition The EXPO will showcase a "who's who" of ethnic media together with advertisers, multicultural marketers, ad agency and PR executives, mainstream media representatives, civic leaders, academicians and pollsters, Foundation and nonprofit directors. WHO: NCM is an association of more than 400 print, broadcast and online ethnic media organizations founded in 1996 by the non-profit Pacific News Service. NCM's goal is to raise the visibility of ethnic media, expand its access to the advertising dollar and promote an inter-ethnic editorial exchange.
