Who: SAVE ONE PERSON, SAVE THE WORLD (www.saveoneperson.org) is a
new non-denominational consortium under the banner of The
Meaningful Life Center (a non-profit organization) that began
as an awareness campaign following 9/11 to show how each
individual can help another and ultimately, save a life.

What: Save One Person, Save the World is holding its launch event
on September 10 in NYC, with a collective charity gathering
of 20 different charities (sort of like a trade show!), where
the public can go & give blood, get tested for bone marrow
compatibility, volunteer for food drives, & learn the many
ways that they can help save one life.

Why: To empower individuals and channel the emotional damage of
terror around the globe into a revolution of good and
positive action, and to show people that if they help one
person, it will actually save thousands, through a
         `chain-letter' affect.

Photo Ops: All My Children's Robin Mattson; Spiritual guru Simon
Jacobson, author of best-selling "Toward a Meaningful Life"; Robyn

Zucker at the WTC, and about what he'd think of elevating his soul by
reaching out and helping others in need; Rafael Collazo, Vice
President of Latino Officers Association who was stuck in WTC for
several hours; and Lauren Finkelstein, founder of Save One Person,
whose life was spared in the Jerusalem Sbarro attack.
