WHAT: A case study presentation candidly profiling American
        Honda's Market-Oriented Vehicle Environment project (MOVE), a
solution that has improved the automotive manufacturer's
ability to balance specific dealer vehicle requests against
factory capacity, dropping their inventory to just 38 days,
according to Automotive News, which charts weekly Domestic and
Imported Car and Light-Truck Inventories, making American
Honda an industry leader. Pundits should appreciate this
open-book session revealing the steps American Honda and
Syncata took to give the factory an ongoing count of the
models and styles each dealership wants most, leading to
        tighter inventory controls.

WHO: The case study will be led by Dan Bonawitz, senior V.P. of
corporate planning and logistics at American Honda; and Ujj
Nath, president & CEO, Syncata (http://Syncata.com), the
e-business firm contracted to deploy the initiative.

WHEN: Nov. 30, 2000 -- 2:30 p.m.

WHERE: Fairmont Hotel
170 South Market Street, San Jose, Calif. 95113
        408/998-1900

NOTE: Advance booking is required for one-on-ones, after the panel.
