Business Editors

ADVISORY...
TOPIC: A survey from the Travel Industry Association of America (TIAA), shows that most travelers are more concerned with rising personal debt than terrorism this summer vacation season, according to an article by MSNBC. The survey also found that although summer travel is expected to increase this year, most travelers will spend less. Seventy-eight percent of travelers will visit friends or relatives this season, while 48 percent of those surveyed will travel to historic sites according to the TIAA. Another survey conducted by Ameridebt, a non-profit credit counseling service, claims that 38 percent of travelers plan on paying for at least part of their vacations with credit cards, the article says.
