Business Editors

ADVISORY...

--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 27, 2001
TOPIC: An internet worm that leaves a backdoor for hackers and allows them to
record keystrokes spread rapidly Monday, officials of several security
companies said. According to a story by CNN, the Badtrans.b worm sends itself
out through versions of Microsoft's Outlook and Outlook Express e-mail
programs. Unlike other worms, Badtrans can be launched by users viewing e-mail

According to security experts in the story, the keystroke recorder program can
allow hackers access to passwords, credit card numbers and company accounts.
