TOPIC: An economic stimulus package of as much as $100 billion was discussed in
a meeting between Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, former Treasury
Secretary Robert Rubin and the Senate Finance Committee, according to an

plan should be limited to two or three years to avoid federal budget deficits
and increased home mortgage rates. Greenspan advised lawmakers to examine
