ADVISORY...

--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 17, 2002
TOPIC: A federal report from the National Council on Disability claims the U.S. mental health system is failing to provide basic services to help people with psychiatric disabilities, according to an article by The Associated Press. Experts say the problem is that there is an emphasis on medicating mentally disabled people over helping them lead a productive life. The report suggests improvements to the mental health system including services such as counseling, peer support, supportive housing and job training.
