ADVISORY/Experts Available To Discuss Commercials/Television Programming.

Business Editors

ADVISORY...

--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 15, 2002
TOPIC: A new study by two advertising groups shows that commercials in 2001
took up more television program time than in 2000, with nearly 21 minutes of
every hour between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. going to ads. During prime time, the 2001
ad numbers decreased nine seconds from the previous year, coming in at 16
minutes, 8 seconds per hour, according to a story by USAToday. Some experts in
the story say they worry about alienating viewers by decreasing program time,
and thus decreasing the effectiveness of the ads. The American Association of
Advertising Agencies (AAAA) and the Association of National Advertisers jointly
published the study. EXPERTS: ExpertSource can offer several highly qualified
