When: Comdex, November 16-20
Where: Everex booth, 2076 (next to Microsoft)
What: Using Everex's computers and the NovaWeb2001(tm), attendees
will be able to simultaneously access the Internet, using
one telephone line and a single ISP account.
Products: The NovaWeb2001 plug-and-play PC add-on cards integrate
the network "hub," network interface card and 56K modem. The
most integrated products of their kind, this
hardware-and-software solution enables users to easily
connect multiple computers and allow them to simultaneously
access the Internet.
Everex's StepServer(tm) SB will operate as a small business
server while three eXplora(tm) desktop units will operate as
the clients, creating a small-business network. The
StepServer SB delivers unprecedented power and expandability
in a mid-tower chassis. The eXplora is a 300 Mhz,
Internet-ready high-performance computer with multimedia
capabilities.
Applications: The NovaWeb2001 enables two or more users to browse

between portables and desktop PCs. Users can play
network-enabled games together or over the Internet.
