ADVISORY/Etagon, Oracle, Cintra Launch Series of Seminars about How Automation Will Minimize Datacenter Costs, Spur Growth of On-Demand Computing Industry.

Business Editors/High-Tech Writers

ADVISORY...for Wednesday Wednesday: see week.  (Dec. 10)

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 3, 2003

WHO: Etagon, a developer of datacenter automation software
Oracle, a global provider of enterprise software
                Cintra, Oracle systems integrator

WHAT: Etagon will present a series of technology seminars on
how CIOs can deploy and manage grid computing while
minimizing cost, the first of which will be December
                10 at Oracle's e-Business Center in Iselin, N.J.
(Further dates and sites will be announced soon.) The
companies will present a live demonstration of
                on-demand capabilities using Oracle database
clustering technologies on Linux with Etagon's
                automation and virtualization software. Executives
from Etagon, Oracle and Cintra, which has partnered
with Etagon to create systems that include Etagon
datacenter automation solutions, also will discuss
additional cost-saving measures that can be
implemented for on-demand computing and database
                clustering technologies.

Etagon CEO Rony Zarom, as well as executives from
Oracle and Cintra, will be available for questions on
the datacenter industry after the seminar ends. To
                register, please visit http://www.etagon.com.

WHY: Industry analysts have identified on-demand computing
as one of the technologies that will drive IT growth
in the next five years. However, the same analysts
also warn that complexity could slow adoption -- thus
the need for datacenter automation, technologies that
strip the complexity of deploying and maintaining
complex application environment. These seminars will
explain the benefits of datacenter automation in an
on-demand environment and how it will help spur the
growth of the on-demand computing industry.

WHERE: The first seminar will be held at:

Oracle e-Business Center, Iselin, New Jersey
                517 Rte. 1 South, Suite 4000
                Iselin, N.J. 08830

WHEN: Dec. 10, 2003, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.

ABOUT ETAGON: Etagon simplifies the deployment and management of
data-centric services and applications. Its Centergon
automation platform software enables the operation of
                cluster-based applications. Centergon uses
virtualization technologies to mask the complexity of
the underlying infrastructure, thereby eliminating the
difficult and costly task of configuring and deploying
cumbersome hardware and cluster software. Etagon's
ManageOn automation module, which plugs into the
                Centergon framework, dramatically speeds the
deployment and simplifies the management of Oracle9i
                Real Application Clusters databases.

Headquartered in New York, Etagon is a privately held
company founded by Decima Ventures and Evergreen
Partners. More information is available at
