Current and Future Opportunities for the World's First Commercially

Deployed 3G Technology to be Explored


    WHAT:         CDMA Development Group (CDG) members Ericsson,
                  Lucent Technologies, Motorola, Nortel Networks and
                  QUALCOMM will participate in a live, online
                  interactive event hosted by the CDG that will focus
                  on CDMA2000, the industry's first commercially
                  deployed 3G technology.

                  The latest event in the CDG Digevent Series will
                  explore the future for CDMA2000 and opportunities
                  for 3G around the globe. CDMA2000, which currently
                  boasts a subscriber base of more than 700,000 users,
                  provides TDMA, cdmaOne, analog and GSM operators
                  substantial cost and time-to-market advantages as
                  they prepare to upgrade their networks to 3G.

    WHO:          Senior representatives from leading wireless
                  companies Ericsson, Lucent Technologies, Motorola,
                  Nortel Networks, and QUALCOMM will participate in a
                  live, online Webcast hosted by Perry LaForge,
