ADVISORY/Entertainment Legends to Donate ''Blood, Sweat and Laughs" at The Friars Club of California Blood Drive, Oct. 1, 2001.

ADVISORY...for Monday (Oct. 1)

 WHAT:  The Friars Club of California, in coordination with the
        American Red Cross, will host a blood drive to help victims of
        New York's Sept. 11 tragedy. Those unable to donate blood will
        be encouraged to donate money instead. Those who show up only
        for free cookies and orange juice will be roasted.

 WHO:   Friars Club members Carl Reiner, Buddy Hackett and Red
        Buttons will join fellow entertainers, friends of the Friars
        Club, community residents and local business owners in hosting
        the event, which is earmarked to make a much needed donation
        to the American Red Cross. Please be advised that Messrs.
        Reiner, Hackett and Buttons will not accept personal donations
        of any sort.

 WHEN:  Monday, Oct. 1, 2001
        1 p.m. - 7 p.m.
