ADVISORY...for Tuesday and Wednesday (Jan. 23 and Jan. 24)

WHAT:            Elementary school children will assist and be
                 guided by accomplished muralist John Zender Estrada
                 in painting an aviation-themed, large-scale mural.
                 The finished product will be a backdrop for Vinny,
                 Van Nuys Airport's miniature, kid-friendly airplane.
                 It's all part of the airport's award-winning
                 educational and tour program, sponsored through Van
                 Nuys Airport's Adopt-A-School program. Excellent
                 opportunity for colorful visuals of children engaging
                 in the creative process.

WHO:             Fourth and fifth grade students from Van Nuys' Gault
                 Street Elementary School

                 John Zender Estrada, muralist and founder/director
                 of Creative Art Solutions.  Estrada, a Los Angeles
                 native, has over 10 years' experience working with
                 children and at-risk youth and has produced over 250
                 murals throughout the U.S.
