WHO: The Electronic Retailing Association (ERA), a trade
association representing the $125 billion electronic retailing
industry is seeking submissions for their annual awards that
honor the best of retail direct response advertising.
WHAT: The ERA Awards honor the best of retail direct response and
DRTV advertising in categories including: Infomercial of the
Year, Best Shopping Channel Host, Best Celebrity Presenter,
Best DRTV Website Design and many more.
Entries will be judged by a panel of over 100 distinguished
invited industry experts from companies including Advertising
Age, Good Housekeeping, TV Guide, Elle, Yahoo and all of the
big names in DRTV advertising and production.
WHEN: Entries must be received by August 14, 2002. Entry forms can
be downloaded at http://www.retailing.org/awards/02awards.pdf.
WHERE: All winners will be announced at the ERA Awards Gala hosted
by comedian Paul Rodriguez, at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas on
October 15, 2002. The gala is sponsored by Thane Inc., Hall
Dickler Kent Goldstein & Wood LLP, and Transactional Marketing
Partners among others.
