INFO:   Find out how the high-speed train system stacks up against
        other transportation modes when it comes to accommodating job
        growth, smart land use and moving the more than 54 million
        Californians projected by 2035.

        Representatives from Cambridge Systematics, Inc., will present
        statewide, regional and local impacts three transportation
        system alternatives will have on California's population,
        employment and land use trends.

        Other key subjects of the meeting include:

        --  Approval of the Memorandum of Understanding with Peninsula
            Corridor Joint Powers Board regarding shared use of the
            Caltrain corridor along the San Francisco Peninsula.

        --  A summary of preliminary results from draft environmental
            impact studies related to geology, water quality, and
            visual and cultural considerations.

        --  A review of the cooperative agreement between the
            Authority and the Spanish Government to share information
            and ideas regarding high-speed rail.
