She has an extensive background in operational and clinical management healthcare, where she was involved in ensuring the implementation of quality healthcare delivery systems and medical standards of documentation. She served as CEO of VCHealthcare Enterprises, Miami; was Director of HUD/Allied Health Careers at Miami Dade Community College; worked as a clinical case manager for NYS Department of Adoption and Foster Care; was Director of International Research at National AIDS Awareness Foundation, and was involved in the World Health Organization's AIDS World Wide Studies.
