Downtown Anaheim is stepping up as the next urban hot spot, adding almost 500 housing units and 55,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space around the Center Street Promenade promenade

The redevelopment consists of six projects dotted around the Promenade that will bring new residents and businesses to enhance and sustain the area as a vibrant main street district. Historically this was the hub of the city, where civic celebrations and parades occurred often underneath grand arches built across the street. In a nod to this history, the program will take place under a 20-foot arch that will be signed by the participants symbolizing sym·bol·ize
