Specifically, each student will be tested on their expertise
in effectively using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
programs.
WHY: To crown world champions of the first annual Microsoft
Office XP Competition, an international competition
sponsored by Certiport, Inc., and to promote the benefits of
the Microsoft Office Specialist certification program.
WHEN & WHERE: An award ceremony honoring winners of this year's
competition will be held at 5 p.m. (ET), Sunday,
May 18, in the American Adventure Rotunda located
at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Translators will be on-site and available to
media interested in interviewing this year's
winners and runners-up.
Competition organizers including Steve Clinger,
senior director of field marketing, Certiport,
