MEDIA ADVISORY

    WHAT: Press conference to announce Dell's title sponsorship for
          Dell Classic 4 Kids NCAA men's basketball event. Head
          basketball coaches from the University of Notre Dame and
          DePaul University will join Dell executives to announce the
          company's sponsorship for the Dec. 1, 2001 event, at
          Chicago's United Center.

          The games will be televised nationally by Fox Sports Net.

          Stanford vs. Texas          Dec. 1, 11:00 a.m. CT
          Notre Dame vs. DePaul       Dec. 1, 1:30 p.m. CT

          Proceeds from the event, scholarships and computer equipment
          will be donated by Dell to the Boys and Girls Clubs of
          Chicago.
