A $2,000 dashboard-mounted global positioning device will be one of the highlights of the October 18 Sold on Dearborn auction party benefiting the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce. The 300 Sold on Dearborn guests will dine at a strolling Opus One-catered buffet at the new Ford Motor Company Conference & Event Center while bidding in silent and live auctions and competing in an array of mini-raffles.

Ford Motor Company is the presenting sponsor of the event.

Other auction and raffle items include a child's Coca Cola themed pedal car and trailer, electronics, a slot machine, jewelry, a gas grill with meat, University of Michigan (body, education) University of Michigan - A large cosmopolitan university in the Midwest USA. Over 50000 students are enrolled at the University of Michigan's three campuses. While Sold on Dearborn benefits the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce, anyone can attend. "This auction is a highlight of Dearborn's social season," said Sold on Dearborn Chair Margaret Knes, "and it comes just in time for the holidays. A lot of these items will make great gifts for kids, spouses, employees and friends."
