The islands were previously large hills that became the largest land chain remaining after the flooding of the Chattahoochee river valley Resort at Lake Lanier Lake Lanier (officially Lake Sidney Lanier) is a manmade lake in the northern portion of the U.S. state of Georgia. It was created by the completion of Buford Dam on the Chattahoochee River in 1956, and is also fed by the waters of the Chestatee River. . The board will discuss reports from its task groups on Child Well-Being and on the MHMRSA MHMRSA Division of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, and Substance Abuse Service Delivery System, and the commissioner's report. From 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. the board will discuss the department's proposed FY 2002 budget. From 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. the board's two task groups will meet to continue their review of services for children and for people with mental disabilities. |
