Business Editors/High-Tech Writers

ADVISORY...for Wednesday Wednesday: see week.  (June June: see month.  13)

--(BUSINESS WIRE)

Crosspoint's Seth Neiman, Jupiter Media Metrix' Tim Clark
and TheSupply CEO Geoff Wilde to Examine Intersection
Between Vertical Service Providers and Net Markets

WHAT: Join Crosspoint Venture Partners in an interactive
discussion with industry luminaries as they explore
the evolution of B2B Internet Commerce, focusing on
the convergence between Vertical Service Providers
(VSPs) and Net Markets. Crosspoint managing partner
Seth Neiman, Jupiter Media Metrix analyst Tim Clark
and TheSupply CEO Geoff Wilde will examine the role
of B2B exchanges in today's business landscape and
will uncover best practices VSPs will draw upon as
they evolve from roots in the transaction-centric
                  net markets model.

The advent of the Web spawned a worldwide business
transformation from tools such as the Internet
browser and broadband technology. Services built on
this framework have matured, driving B2B Internet
commerce past just transaction-based businesses to
                  the delivery of value-added subscription-based
applications and services for niche target markets.
The seasoned panel participants will look at how
Vertical Service Providers (VSPs) have refined the
Net Market model, using specialized applications and
deep industry expertise to transform the Internet
into a highly focused tool for competitive advantage
                  in vertical industries.

CEO Geoff Wilde will discuss how TheSupply evolved
its business model to include revenues from its
exchange and a highly specialized application
platform for the electronics materials industry. The
panel will use TheSupply as an example of the
business and financial strengths experienced from
                  this evolution.
