What: The Cresskill Chamber Musicians, comprised of professional musicians who reside in Cresskill, will present a classical and jazz concert for the benefit of Disaster Fund for Children of New Jersey, on Friday, October 19, 2001 at 7:30 PM at Cresskill High School Cresskill High School is a six-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in seventh through twelfth grades from Cresskill in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Cresskill Public Schools. . ALL proceeds from the concert will go to the Disaster Fund for Children of New Jersey. Music by Brahms, Liszt, Arensky, Gershwin, Rachmaninoff, and others will be performed.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for each of the first 2 children under 12 in a family, additional children free, and $10 for students 12-18 and senior citizens. All donations are tax-deductible, and checks should be made out to the Disaster Fund for Children of New Jersey. Tickets will be sold at the door on the evening of the concert. A bake sale is a fundraising activity where baked goods such as doughnuts, cupcakes and cookies, sometimes along with ethnic foods, are sold.

Background: The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce formed the

"Disaster Fund for Children of New Jersey" to provide

immediate resources to children and their families who have

been affected by the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
