What: At the IEC conference, Crenshaw and DeTrana will join a
panel discussion entitled Successful Approaches to Managing
New Services and Networks.
Communications service providers (CSPs) are working hard to
shore-up their business operations. One of the hottest areas
in the drive to improve operating efficiencies -- and to
boost bottom-line profits -- is Cost and Revenue Assurance
(CRA). Typically implemented as a means of correcting
revenue leakage problems that stem from the complexities of
CSP business operations, CRA restores data integrity across
the enterprise to recover lost revenue and prevent
unnecessary costs.
As part of the presentation, Crenshaw and DeTrana will
discuss how CSPs should integrate cutting-edge CRA solutions
into the earliest stages of new service deployments and
network infrastructure build-outs. By incorporating CRA into
the foundation of future network services and support
infrastructure, CSPs can decrease costs and reduce or
eliminate lost revenues, thereby increasing service margins.
In addition, by implementing CRA from the start, CSPs can
improve billing accuracy, reduce provisioning time and
improve the overall satisfaction of customers.
