WHAT/WHY:                  Southern California Logistics Airport
                          (SCLA) in Victorville, Calif. will host a
                           news conference to welcome GE Aircraft
                           Engines (GEAE) and mark the ground breaking
                           of the company's new 161,700-square-foot
                           complex that will include a Boeing 747
                           aircraft hangar. Congressman Jerry Lewis is
                           scheduled to speak at this momentous event.

                           GEAE is the world's leading manufacturer of
                           jet engines for civil and military
                           aircraft. The company will base its
                           specially equipped Boeing 747 flying
                           testbed at SCLA and conduct performance and
                           flexibility tests to simulate a real world
                           environment on its commercial jet engines.

                           GEAE's flight test operation will employ
                           more than 50 full-time employees and host
                           visiting engineers, technicians and airline
                           representatives from around the world.

                           Drive which will end at Airbase Road, turn
                           left on Air Expressway, turn right onto
                           Phantom Road West (second signal).
