The bipartisan leadership of The Concord Coalition will discuss key economic and national security issues in the post September 11 environment at Concord's Annual Economic Patriots Dinner this Wednesday evening, November 14, 2001, at the Pierre Hotel in New York City

Concord Coalition President Peter G. Peterson will moderate the discussion and pose questions such as:

-- Where is the U.S. economy headed?

-- What should Congress and the President do to provide economic

stimulus at this time?

-- What are the prospects for meaningful reform of the nation's entitlement programs?

-- Are the nation's ports and borders secure and, if not, what should be done about it?

-- What is the extent of the nuclear, chemical and biological weapons threat?

-- Is the current structure of the Office of Homeland Security adequate?

-- What steps should be taken to provide additional airline security?

-- What actions should be taken vis-a-vis Iraq and Saudi Arabia?

-- Does the U.S. have the will to face up to its long term security and economic challenges?
