Looking for the perfect gift? Looking for a way to feel good about
yourself during the hectic holiday season? Why not help save a life
and donate a pint of blood. Community Blood Centers of South Florida,
Inc. (CBCSF) announces Blood Watch 2001.
Blood Watch 2001 is a community wide blood drive held over a 2-day
period after the Christmas holiday at locations throughout South
Florida. The need for blood during this time of the year is critical
and our goal is to collect over 500 pints of blood between 12/26/01
and 12/27/01. People who donate blood will receive a Holiday T-shirt,
a free cholesterol test and of course the complimentary juice and
cookies.
Annual holiday shortages can put our vital blood supply at risk.
If you or anyone you know has ever thought about giving blood, now is
the time to help your community through these critical days. Less than
5% of the eligible donors in our community donate blood yet 95% of
people will need blood at some time during their lifetime.
Call 1-888-454-2362 to obtain a donation site convenient for you.
Make somebody's year and donate blood at Blood Watch 2001! Thank
you.
