Underwritten by a $50,000 grant from Comerica, the world-renown Russian ballet Russian ballet is a form of ballet characteristic of or originating from Russia. This includes the Vaganova method, the Mariinsky Ballet (Kirov Ballet), and the Bolshoi Theatre, among others.  company will delight audiences with three local performances:
-- November 1, at the State Theatre in Kalamazoo

-- November 2, at the WK Kellogg Auditorium in Battle Creek

-- November 3, at DeVos Hall in Grand Rapids

"The Moscow Ballet company is an important part of the fabric of the West Michigan community and we're proud to ensure that this rich relationship continues."

Comerica's sponsorship also enables members of the ballet company to visit with some very special patients at DeVos Children's Hospital, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. In addition, ballet members will visit with the Grand Rapids Big Brother's/Big Sister's Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. in the President Ford Room at the Amway Grand Plaza.
