                  2nd Annual International Conference on Microdisplays

                    Colorado MicroDisplay, Inc. (CMD) will be one of the
                  lead sponsors of Microdisplay 2001, the 2nd Annual
                  International Conference on Microdisplays.
                  Microdisplay 2001 will focus on the latest
                  technologies related to the development of
                  microdisplay-based systems. The event features a
                  host of technical sessions for industry
                  professionals interested in display and
                  display-system design, integration, marketing,
                  display standards, manufacturing, human factors,
                  applications, and R&D. Microdisplay 2001 will also
                  feature exhibits from the leading manufacturers that
                  produce products or perform services related to
                  microdisplays and associated technologies.

WHY:              Colorado MicroDisplay will be exhibiting the next
                  generation of its award-winning SVGA and QVGA
                  microdisplay solutions, including interface ASICs,
                  optical reference designs, and OEM-developed
                  products incorporating CMD microdisplays.

                    Microdisplay 2001 was developed by the Society for
                  Information Display (SID). The 6000 international
                  members of SID are professionals in all of the
                  technical and business disciplines relating to
                  display research, design, manufacturing,
                  applications, marketing, and sales. These members
                  share in the goal of developing and manufacturing
                  displays for the 21st century, and applying them to
                  exciting information, telecommunications, medical,
                  commercial, government, entertainment, and consumer
                  products.
