    WHAT: Cisco Systems will host its "SMB Education Day" at 9 a.m.
Pacific Time, Tuesday, June 10, 2003. The day will begin with an
executive panel discussion on the small and medium-sized business
(SMB) market, followed by a tour of a showcase of SMB networking
solutions.
    Cisco President and CEO, John Chambers, will participate in the
executive panel discussion along with other prominent business and
technology leaders, including:

    --  John Edwardson, CEO of CDW, a leading direct market reseller
        focused on commercial customers

    --  Chris Younger, President of Expanets, a leading provider of
        converged communications solutions to small and medium-sized
        businesses

    --  R. Blane Walter, Chairman and CEO, inChord Communications,
        grand-prize winner of the Cisco Growing with Technology Award
        2002 for operational excellence

    --  Dan Rosensweig, Chief Operating Officer of Yahoo!, a leading
        provider of comprehensive online products and services to
        consumers and businesses worldwide

    Peter Alexander, vice president of worldwide commercial market
segment at Cisco, will moderate the discussion. Each panel participant
will share a unique perspective on the important role that SMBs play
in today's economic environment -- its expected direction and the
competitive landscape. The discussion will highlight how SMBs can
improve productivity and gain a greater competitive advantage in
today's challenging marketplace.
    Following the SMB executive panel discussion will be a tour of the
Cisco Commercial Solutions Showcase. The showcase is a
1700-square-foot space on the Cisco campus, featuring the best of
Cisco networking solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. SMBs
can discover first-hand how they can unleash the power of their
networks for improved business productivity. Lunch will be available
during the tour.
    Due to space limitations, only members of the press and industry
analysts will be invited to attend the event in person. All others are
welcome to attend via live audio Webcast (URL for registration below)
and submit questions online during the panel discussion.
