WHAT: Cisco Systems, Inc. is a platinum sponsor of Storage Networking World, Computerworld's bi-annual tradeshow and conference, and will be represented through various activities. A summary of those activities is as follows:

-- The Cisco booth (#P15) will feature a comprehensive technology

demo that illustrates the multiprotocol SAN switching

capabilities of the Cisco portfolio, including IP, Ethernet,

iSCSI, FCIP FCIP - Federal Career Intern Program
FCIP - Fellow, Chartered Insurance Professional
FCIP - Fibre Channel over Internet Protocol
FCIP - Field Cable Installation Platoon
FCIP - Field Change Improvement Program
FCIP - Field Change Installation Program
FCIP - Foreign Counterintelligence Program
FCIP - Franciscan Colleges Instrumental Program
, and Fibre Channel.

-- Cisco will be participating in two SNIA-sponsored multi-vendor

interoperability demos, the Supported Solutions Forum's

heterogeneous SAN switch demo and the Common Information Model (standard) Common Information Model - (CIM) An open systems management standard driven by the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF). 

(CIM) SAN demo, which will feature a prototype CIM interface

for the Cisco MDS 9000 Family.

-- Tom Edsall, CTO of Andiamo Systems, will be participating in

the "CTO Insights Panel" on Wednesday April 16 from 11:15 a.m.

to 12 p.m.

-- George Nathanson, director of IT at Wireless Retail, Inc. and

a Cisco SN 5428 Storage Router See data mover. customer, will be presenting a

user case study entitled "Reality of SANs for the Smaller

Enterprise" on Wednesday April 16 from 4 to 4:30 p.m.

-- Ernie Swanson, product manager in the Optical Networking

Group, will be presenting "The Impact of Metro DWDM in

Enterprise Storage Networking" on Thursday April 17 from 10:15

to 11 a.m.
