WHO:        John Chambers, president and CEO of Cisco Systems, Inc.

WHAT:       Chambers' N+I 2002 keynote presentation will explore the
            topic: "Today's Networked Virtual Corporation -- A
            Convergence of Networks". In today's uncertain economic
            climate, companies are "getting back to basics" and
            focusing on profits, cash and achieving productivity
            gains. Chambers will discuss how companies are integrating
            business and technology solutions and streamlining those
            solutions across their entire value chain or ecosystem of
            partners to create a `networked virtual organization.' In
            addition, live demonstrations will show how leveraging a
            broader network of networks helps companies achieve
            operational efficiencies and competitive advantage.

WHEN:       Wednesday, May 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A separate
            press event featuring an open Q&A session with Chambers
            and enterprise executives will be held at 11:00 a.m. A
            webcast of the keynote presentation will be available for
            viewing at http://www.interop.com within 2 hours after the
            keynote is delivered.
