WHAT: Harry Bonham, Senior Process Development Specialist
for Chorum Technologies in Richardson, Texas, will
present a paper entitled A View of Tomorrow's
Optical Packaging Technology at the Telecom Hardware
Solutions Conference and Exhibition, which is
sponsored by the Surface Mount Technology
Association (SMTA) and International
Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS). For
his paper presentation, Bonham will discuss current
optical industry packaging requirements and
practices, as well as some future practices for the
industry.
WHO: Harry Bonham brings more than 35 years of experience
in microelectronic and optical module
design, packaging and manufacturing process to his
position at Chorum Technologies. He oversees
the company's manufacturing technology, new product
introduction, industrial engineering and
next-generation packaging. Bonham has authored eight
patents and published more than 20
papers -- all related to component packaging
techniques. He holds a bachelor of science degree in
physics and an electrical engineering degree from
the University of Kansas and received a
master of science degree in electrical engineering
from the University of Missouri.
