Who:    More than 25 local companies are expected to attend a
        conference sponsored by Hewitt Associates and the National
        Foreign Trade Council (NFTC).

What:   Hewitt's European retirement experts and representatives from
        the National Foreign Trade Council are sponsoring a conference
        to help executives at local multinational companies prepare
        for upcoming changes in European pension provisions. One of
        the key changes will result in employers having to take more
        responsibility for employees' pensions.

        The conference will address:
        -   The current state and private pension provisions in
            France, Germany and the UK.
        -   The legal and political environment in Europe.
        -   Status and potential for pan-European pension funds.
        -   Pension accounting standards in Europe.
        -   The impact of the pension changes on employers and
            employees.

When:   Wednesday, July 24, 2002, 8:30 a.m.-- 4:00 p.m.
