Champagne Piper-Heidsieck is ready to break out the bubbly in proud celebration of a stellar actress and the landmark 10th Anniversary of its prestigious Tribute to Independent Vision Award at Robert Redford's 2001 Sundance Film Festival.

This year, Champagne Piper-Heidsieck and Sundance have chosen to honor Julianne Moore Julianne Moore (born December 3, 1960) is an Emmy Award-winning American actress. She has been nominated for four Academy Awards. Biography
Early life
Moore was born Julie Anne Smith in Fort Bragg, near Fayetteville, North Carolina,[]
, who exemplifies the artistic courage and vision central to the Piper-Heidsieck Tribute. As recipient of the 10th Anniversary Award, Julianne will be recognized for her contribution to acting artistry through the diverse roles she has played in films such as The End of the Affair, Boogie Nights, and Magnolia.

As the Sundance Film Festival has grown to receive worldwide attention, so has the Piper-Heidsieck Tribute. The Tribute presentation, which includes an A-list attended Champagne reception, has become the hottest ticket in town, with the Piper Award emerging as an important recognition of an actor's commitment to portraying original and challenging characters on screen with insight and sensitivity.

It is one of two major resort towns in Utah, the other being Moab. It is considered to be part of the Wasatch Back and a part of the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. . Joining Julianne on stage will be special guest Lyle Lovett.
