        will present a session titled "Invisible Factors in EAP
        Interventions with African American Employees."

    Details: Dr. Garrett, a member of the Minnesota Association of
        Black Psychologists, will share how employers can misinterpret
        verbal and non-verbal behaviors manifested by employees in the
        workplace. In the instance of African American employees, some
        of these behaviors can impact the perception of the employee's
        work performance as well as their adjustment in the workplace.
        Participants attending this session will receive valuable
        information about diversity in the workplace and, in
        particular, how to better support their African American
        employee population.
