Clydesdales and an adorable two-month-old Clydesdale
foal as they "bare all" in preparation for judging day
at the 111th annual Tournament of Roses Parade. Learn
the beauty regimen of these "gentle giants" as the
handlers bathe, shampoo, groom and even blow-dry each
horse.
The Budweiser Clydesdales are primping for their 47th
consecutive appearance in the Rose Parade, pulling the
City of St. Louis float, "A Family Tradition."
Standards are high during the selection of the Budweiser

age, weigh between 1,800-2,300 pounds, be bay or brown
in color, have four white "stockings" or hooves, a blaze
of white on the face, as well as a black mane and tail.
A gentle temperament is also very important as the
horses meet millions of people each year.
