will announce plans for Brooks' new album and deliver the album's first single, "Wrapped Up In You," to country radio.

"When President Bush raised our flag to full staff again, he officially led us as a nation from mourning the tragic events of two weeks ago, to trying to put the pieces of our lives back together," said Mike Dungan, President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Capitol Records Nashville. "Baseball is back, football is back, Broadway shows are back, the new television season is beginning. The nation as a whole, including the entertainment world, is responding to President Bush's direction to continue with our lives and our work."

"And we're trying to do that," said Brooks, "but at the same time we realize that our lives are forever changed Forever Changed was a Christian Rock band from Tallahassee and Orlando, FL. They came together in 1999 and broke up in 2006. Dan Cole was the lead singer, a guitarist, and a pianist. Ben O'Rear was the lead guitarist, Tom Gustafson played bass, and Nathan Lee played the drums. . I do not feel that I am all alone in having a heavy heart, and getting back to `normal life' is going to be a slow process for me. I think `Beer Run' would have been the perfect first single from this album if it were not for the tragic events of September 11, but if we are to come with music now, `Wrapped Up In You' is one of the best feeling songs I've ever had the honor of recording. In the world of entertainment you go a lot by your heart, and if I am asked as an American citizen to pick up and continue, then this is the song I will go with."

The press conference will feature a "Countdown to Garth" and the opportunity to hear his first new release in 4 years as it is delivered digitally to country radio. Fans will have the unique opportunity to pose their questions to Brooks, alongside working members of the media.
