BACKGROUND: The CDVA California Veterans Board consists of seven
members (all veterans) appointed by the Governor. Board
members are subject to Senate confirmation. The Mission of
the Board is to determine the policies for the California
Department of Veterans Affairs, to hear and render
decisions on appeals by veterans and establish annual rate
of interest on Cal-Vet Farm and Home Loans.
