20 Los Angeles-Area Schools Will Receive Grants

City National Bank will launch a statewide literacy literacy

This effort reflects the bank's determination to improve student achievement and better prepare the state's workforce of tomorrow.  counties will each receive $5,000 awards. More than 1,200 California schools applied for the book fund grants, which are made possible through City National Bank and other private donors.
