Fundraising event produced by the American Diabetes Association The American Diabetes Association, or the ADA, is an American health organization providing diabetes research, information and advocacy. Founded in 1940, the American Diabetes Association conducts programs in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, reaching hundreds of . The ride will be led by Grand Marshalls, Karen Davidson and Larry Hagman. Projected attendance is 6,000 participants and all bikes are welcome.

PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION: Those wishing to participate can register by calling the B.A.D. Ride hotline at (800) 828-8293 extension 7446 or 7439. Participants raise a minimum of $30 of donations for entry. Registration packets are available at all Southern California Harley-Davidson dealerships and other participating outlets.

WHY?: This event will benefit the American Diabetes Association in California. Funds raised through sponsors' donations support national research into the cause and cure of diabetes, as well as vital services for California.
