CDMA Development Group Executive Officers Review CDMA Accomplishments

in 2001 and What's Ahead for 2002


WHAT:                      CDMA Development Group (CDG) executive
                           officers will participate in an online
                           discussion to review CDMA wireless
                           technology achievements during 2001 and
                           will provide a look ahead to what the
                           industry should expect in 2002. 2001 was an
                           exciting year, with continued 3G roll-outs,
                           technology innovations and new applications
                           and devices available in the marketplace.

                           The webcast will also explore what 2002 has
                           in store, including further deployment of
                           3G networks, technology evolution and new
                           services.

WHO:                       Brian O'Shaughnessy, president of the CDG
                           and vice president of wireless technology
                           for Bell Mobility; Greg Young, vice
                           president of planning for the CDG and group
                           manager, core products and platforms for
                           Telstra; and Oliver Valente, treasurer of
                           the CDG and CTO for Sprint PCS, will join
                           Perry LaForge, executive director of the
                           CDG, during the online discussion to
                           provide a review of 2001 and a look at what
                           is ahead for CDMA in 2002.
