WHO: The Greater Boston Food Bank and the Young Alumni Clubs
of Greater Boston are teaming up again for the 12th Annual
"Party for a Plate" fundraiser. This year's Party for a
Plate is organized by a committee of alumni from various
colleges: Boston College, Bowdoin College, Boston
University, Cornell University, Dickinson College,
Endicott College, Franklin & Marshall College, College of
the Holy Cross, Loyola College, University of Notre Dame,
Regis College, Salve Regina University, Syracuse
University, Union College, and Villanova University
WHAT: Party for a Plate is an annual fundraiser for The
Greater Boston Food Bank that features great music
provided by DJ Mike Amado and food from a number of
Boston's best restaurants and local breweries. In addition
the event will feature over 50 prizes that will be raffled
off throughout the evening! One hundred percent of all
proceeds from Party for a Plate go to The Greater Boston
Food Bank's programs.
Last year's event raised $14,000 for The Greater Boston
Food Bank. Over the past 10 years the Young Alumni Clubs
have raised over $95,000 for The Food Ban, making a
significant impact on their fight against hunger in
eastern Massachusetts.
