Risk on June 17 Panel, "From Factories to Villages: The Essentials of

Converting Industrial Sites"

WHAT: The conversion of contaminated industrial land, or "brownfield
sites," to residential use is increasing. At PCBC 2004,
Greenberg Traurig's Gregory Trimarche, one of the country's
leading brownfield attorneys, will outline the strategies
developers and builders can employ to identify and control the
       risks presented by these projects.

"There is a shortage of virgin land on which we can build. In
many parts of the country, the best option for developers is to
convert industrial land for residential use," said Trimarche.
"Many of these sites represent a wonderful opportunity for home
       builders."

       Trimarche will provide insight into:

-- Assessing the feasibility of an industrial-to-residential
redevelopment project from the environmental perspective
-- Untangling the morass of overlapping regulatory agencies
-- Determining what cleanup standards will apply to a
             project
-- Minimizing ongoing liability for residual environmental
             contamination
-- Using insurance and other risk management tools to
             minimize potential liability

Trimarche is part of an industry panel which will also examine
trends in infill development and educate delegates as to how
they can locate promising industrial conversion opportunities,
understand the industrial conversion market, handle land
compatibility issues, manage the zoning and re-entitlement
process and gain approval for higher density projects.

WHO: Greg Trimarche, shareholder, Greenberg Traurig LLP
(Tom Paradise, development executive/urban development for
Standard Pacific Homes and Dan Withee, Principal Architect for
Withee Malcolm Architects, LLP, will join Trimarche on the
       panel)

WHEN: The panel "From Factories to Villages: The Essentials of
Converting Industrial Sites" will take place on June 17, 2004,
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM in room P31. PCBC 2004 will be held at the
Moscone Center, San Francisco, June 15-18, 2004.
