Mitretek will co-present this one-day seminar that discusses how

the recent events changing the health care landscape today,

present new challenges in financial and market realities for

providers, including the critical need for a better-integrated

strategic facility planning process within health care provider

organizations. This one-day seminar covers three essential areas

Business Plan to Facility Plan: Operational Programming for Health Care Services

January 22, 2003 - Margaret Woodruff and Jo Ann Grisham of Bristol

Group Mitretek will co-present this one-day seminar that is

intended to introduce hospital planners and architects with some

health care experience to operational programming, which provides

a critical link between a health care organization's business plan

and the facility plan required to implement it. Participants learn

how operational needs and parameters--such as service volumes,

workflow, patient processing, and materials handling--affect the

demands placed on the facility plan. Statistical techniques for

translating workloads into capacity requirements are also

presented in case history format.
