WHO & WHAT:

Gregg Levin, senior vice president of marketing and business development for BridgeWave Communications, an innovator in wireless access systems that extend the reach of broadband networks, will speak at the Fixed Wireless Broadband Access Europe Conference on November 6 at 3:30 p.m. Gregg Levin will address "The Need for a Cost-Effective and Universal Transport Extension Technology to Speed the Rollout of Broadband Access."

Gregg's breadth of experience comes from holding several key executive positions at Wireless including the following: executive vice president/chief technical officer, vice president and general manager of internetworking products, vice president of engineering and vice president of marketing. Gregg was the driving technical and management force behind the WaveNet IP family of high-capacity wireless access routers. Prior to Wireless, Gregg held a series of engineering management roles at Hewlett-Packard. He spearheaded internetworking product development for the PA-RISC (Precision Architecture-RISC) A proprietary RISC-based CPU architecture from HP that was introduced in 1986. It is the foundation of HP's 3000 and 9000 computer families. See IA-64.  Unix workstation and server product lines, and led advanced development projects in ATM, network management and network security. Gregg received a BA from Haverford College, an MS from the University of Michigan (body, education) University of Michigan - A large cosmopolitan university in the Midwest USA.
