These are the company's second contract proposals to the union. The engineering unit rejected the initial offer by 98 percent. SPEEA mailed more than 12,900 ballots to dues paying members on Jan. 15. An additional 200 ballots have been issued to new members who joined since the mailing.

Union leaders have said a strike will be called at 9 a.m., Thursday, (Feb. 3) if members reject the proposals.
