Hanks, will address the Salt Lake Rotary Club on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at the Wyndham Hotel (215 West South Temple) on the topic of "Collaboration: The New Technology Buzzword A term that refers to the latest technology or a term that sounds catchy. If not a flash in the pan, new technologies become mainstream. For example, Java was a hot buzzword in the 1990s, but should remain a major topic for decades. ."

Hanks has more than 17 years of leadership experience at Marriott, Frito-Lay and Price Waterhouse. He joined BlueStep after 11 years with Marriott International Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) is a worldwide operator and franchisor of a range of value and luxury hotels and related lodging facilities. Marriott currently has 2,300 accommodation properties in North America alone. , most recently as a corporate officer and executive vice president of sales, where he led the sales, distribution, and revenue management efforts for Marriott's 13 lodging brands worldwide, totaling $17 billion in revenues.
